The original system on these eco friendly Diesel Ingenium engines have almost zero sound which is very disappointing. We provide a solution that gives your Defender the soundtrack to match its look. Our Sound Enhancer Exhaust System replaces the bulky rear silencer with a Sound Architect™ Sound Generator and 2 stunning QS branded carbon fibre tailpipes. Our electric sound generator then produces an artificial engine sound that exits the vehicle alongside the actual diesel exhaust gases. The system provides your Defender with a much more deeper presence on idle and alters with engine revs with some subtle pops on the overrun. The generator can also be easily switched on or off to suit your environment by double tapping the Auto Start-Stop button and remembers your preference. All wiring and our installation guide are included though we recommend using a qualified auto electrician for installation. |

Module with wiring inc. Sound Generator and exhaust On cars that do not possess a ‘voice’ to work with, we offer a sound generator that sync’s realistic noises with the car’s natural sounds. This produces a muscle-rich note that adds to the realism. For example, a turbo diesel which is otherwise almost silent can be given a proper V8 rumble at the push of a button. This type of electronic Sound Architect™ is straightforward to install by any auto electrician. It comprises of a small module that connects to the car’s CAN-BUS network and reads parameters like throttle position, engine rpm, gear changes and road speed to calculate and generate a sound that perfectly matches the drive. Additional wiring feeds into the exhaust generator built into our sport system that replaces the factory exhaust. The sound then emits from the tail pipes for an authentic note. This application can also be easily switched on or off to suit your environment, either by double tapping the Auto Start-Stop button or the drive select knob. |

How Much Time Is Needed For Install?
It will depend on the make and model and the experience of the fitter. Some of our more modern systems take as little as 45 minutes though some vehicles take longer due to the removal of other parts to gain access.
Classic systems may on occasion be more difficult and we always recommend installation by a professional technician.
How loud Will It Be?
We offer sound readings for many modern systems and categorize our sound into levels; Sports, SuperSports and SuperSportsPlus.
