By purchasing this made-to-order item, buyer understands that the item will still need to be made before it is available and there could be an extended lead time due to supply chain constraints. Buyer also releases APR Performance Inc.'s liability if they fail to understand a straightforward message on the product page. 

Carbon Fiber Care

Please, carefully read the following care tips to keep your carbon fiber piece looking its best.
Our carbon fiber products come with a UV resistant clear coat. Therefore, additional coating is not necessary if care of the product is done properly. However, the addition of a ceramic coating will aid in the longevity of the carbon piece.

Care Tips:

1. Carbon fiber can be washed with any gentle cleanser or soap. If it is safe for the paint on your car, it will be safe for the Carbon fiber. (non-acidic/harsh cleaning products) Avoid washing vehicle in direct sunlight and do not allow water to stand on carbon fiber product and evaporate off the item. Failure to do so can create damage to the product in forms of hard water spots, hazing, white spots as well as clearcoat failure.
2. Once washed, be sure to dry the product with a soft microfiber towel to avoid scratches.
3. Wax your product periodically as you would your vehicle with a non-acidic liquid wax.
4. ***DO NOT USE PASTE WAX*** (Paste products tend to contain abrasive materials that will diminish as well as remove the clear coat surface area over time)
5. Be wary of synthetic car covers which can release residue that can harm the clear coat. If the car is being covered, you will want to check every few days for any residual residue deposited onto the carbon fiber surface.
6. If you keep your vehicle stored over long periods of time be sure to keep the products clean. Buildup of dust and debris can cause harm to the products finish.
7. Protect your products from the elements.
8. DO NOT let water dry on your products. Remove standing water as soon as possible. Carbon Fiber is a heat conductor. Therefore, leaving standing water does not only leave stains and water spots, but it will boil under humid and sunny conditions leading to accelerated clear coat damage and failure.
9. Keep your carbon fiber products out of the sun as often as possible. This will increase the life of the UV inhibitors in the clear coat.
10. Clean your products after driving on salted roads.

Due to the nature of the product, improper care can cause discoloration or damage to the clear coat. The team at APR Performance takes pride in our products. Therefore, following the tips above to increase the longevity of the finish will allow you to enjoy the products as much as we do.

Shipping times may vary depending on component configuration. Each kits consists of multiple components and requires all parts to be in stock. Shipping is calculated at checkout. This item is eligible for package protection insurance by Route which covers lost, stolen or damaged items. It is recommended to purchase to ensure your order is protected.

Some items are considered "Special Order" items. This means that in some cases it may take several weeks for your item to ship. This is typically found in items that are of high value or not frequently sold.

LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

All products manufactured by APR Performance are fully warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for one (1) year from the time of purchase. If any product is suspected of being defective, the customer may elect to return the product to APR Performance. APR Performance will not accept any C.O.D. returns unless specified by an APR Performance representative. Any item that is determined to be defective will be repaired or replaced. On any warranty claim, APR Performance will be responsible for APR Performance parts only. APR Performance is not responsible for any labor or inconvenience charges incurred by the customer. Questions about the APR Performance Limited Product Warranty policy may be directed toward an APR Performance representative at sales@aprperformance.com.

Warranty is non transferable. 

i. If a product should fail due to manufacturer’s defect within the stated warranty period, APR Performance will repair or replace the failed product.

ii. It is the responsibility of the customer/installer to verify the correct size and application of the parts before installation, and to ensure that proper installation is performed. Problems or failure caused by improper installation are not covered under the APR Performance Limited Warranty.

iii. Warranty claims shall be serviced by the applicable seller (APR Performance or Authorized Dealer/Reseller).

iv. If an item is returned and exhibits damage not covered by the APR Performance Limited Warranty, a quote will be generated for repair or replacement, plus delivery to the owner. At that time, the owner will have a choice to either pay for the repair or replacement, or request that the item be returned without any action taken by APR Performance. If Warranty requirements are met, the repaired or replaced item will be returned without charge and will continue to be covered for the balance of the original warranty period.

v. All return shipments must be freight prepaid and insured (against loss or damage) with tracking number. No C.O.D. shipments will be accepted. If the warranty claim is fulfilled, the additional shipping expenses incurred will be compensated.

vi. APR Performance is not responsible for any labor or inconvenience charges incurred by the customer.
